From fried to poached to boiled, they are one of the most versatile foods around. So today I’m going to make some scrambled eggs with a fatty twist. We’re making keto brown butter scrambled eggs, garnished with fresh chives. Perfect for breakfast, or as a snack!

Brown Butter Scrambled Eggs Ingredients

  • Large eggs
  • Unsalted butter
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh Chives

Brown Butter Scrambled Eggs Directions

  1. Beat two egg yolks in a bowl.
  2. Melt butter in a frying pan or any nonstick skillet on medium-low heat.
  3. Cook until the melted butter turns a golden brown colour—turning it into your nutty brown butter.
  4. Now, turn down the heat to the lowest setting and add in the egg mixture with your browned butter.
  5. Keep them moving constantly and scramble them. Try to keep them in the middle of the pan.
  6. Once done, season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  7. Finish off with fresh chives.
  8. Serve with keto bread, or as is, and enjoy!
