Old Monk Ice Cream
It wasn’t to long ago that I figured out an incredible recipe for homemade ice-cream using just 2 ingredients. This is unbelievably easy and it doesn’t require an ice-cream machine. I played around with flavours and made Nutella, cookies and cream and coffee ice-cream. This recipe is the perfect canvas and you can really play around with it and make your favourite ice-cream flavours come to life.
Chocolate and dark rum have always gone well together. For this recipe I decided to bring together my love for dark chocolate and the legendary Old Monk rum. So watch and enjoy!!
- 200 ml Condensed Milk I recommend this one
- 400 ml Whipping Cream I recommend this one
- 100 grams Dark Compound Chocolate I recommend this one
- 1 tbsp Coco Powder I recommend this
- 2 tbsp Old Monk Rum
- Melt the chocolate over a ban marie or in the microwave.
- Add in the condensed milk, coco powder and old monk and mix well
- Whip cream to stuff peaks and add in the chocolate
- Put in ice cream dish and freeze for 4-6 hours at least.
- Serve!
