My Mom’s Cheese Toastie
My mom's cheese toastie is incredibly delicious and easy to make! It only uses a handful of pantry ingredients and takes under 15 minutes to make. It's an excellent snack, breakfast or party food!

200 g Processed cheese grated (a mix of cheddar and mozzarella works too) 1 Egg 1 Spring onion sliced 1 tsp Dried parsley 1 tsp Dried oregano 1 pinch Salt Pepper to taste Chili flakes optional, for spice lovers 5 slices White bread Butter for spreading
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, combine the cheese, egg, spring onion, salt, dried parsley, dried oregano, and pepper. Add chili flakes if desired.
Butter each bread slice and top with the cheese mixture.
Arrange the slices on a baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes. You're aiming for melted and lightly browned cheese, and toasted bread.
Once done, slice the toasties into quarters and serve warm.
