Ingredients for the glaze
For the dish
  • 1 kg pork belly
  • Chicken stock or 1 litre water and stock cubes
  • Sugar
  • Ginger
  • garlic
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Spring Onion Greens

Instructions
  1. Chop the pork belly into large even chunks
  2. Boil the stock and add in sugar, ginger and garlic.
  3. Add the pork and cook for 2 hours
  4. Chop the pork into bite sized pices
  5. Fry the pork in a pan
  6. Drain/Remove the excess fat
  7. Add glaze and cook till thick.
  8. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and spring onion greens
  9. Serve with boiled rice.
