Weight is just a number
I’m at my babbling best and fairly incoherent in the exact message I wanted to communicate. However those are the perils of the visual medium, at least when it’s done the way I do it, on the spot with no rehearsals and no points to check. The whole idea of this video was to get people to stop obsessing over the scale on Keto. Yes, we’re here to lose weight and get lean and mean (okay maybe not mean). We’re here to improve our health and at the end of the day when you get close to your ideal weight, the numbers don’t matter. It’s like that silly rule that says when you are 17 years and 364 days old you cannot drink but after just 1 day, you can. You could have drunk at 17 years old or 19 years old and it wouldn’t be any different from drinking when you were 18 years old. It’s the same with goal weight. Once you reach that ball park figure of your ideal weight, it’s time to take the next step towards your health and body image. That step, is probably exercise.
While I keep saying weight loss it’s important to mention that it’s the FAT LOSS that we want. Losing weight can be anything from water weight to muscle mass. On Keto since we’re burning fat it’s one of the more effective ways to lose fat as well. It’s important to realize that you can lose fat, gain muscle and your weight might not change. So don’t stress. It’s also possible that you may lose inches and not weight. What’s my message in short? Stop being a neurotic nutcase and weighing yourself everyday and stressing yourself about it. Stress doesn’t help weight loss. So enjoy your day and Keto on.
