Ingredients
  • Burger patties:
  • 500 grams beef mince
  • 1 ½ Onions finely chopped or ground
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic chopped or ground
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Mustard powder to taste
  • 1 Egg
  • Potatoes:
  • 4-5 boiled potatoes (with skin)
  • Butter
  • Olive Oil
  • Rosemary
  • Parsley
  • Italian Herbs/Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Mushrooms:
  • 2 Packets of chopped mushrooms
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Gin or Vodka (Optional)
  • Salt and Pepper
Instruction
Burger Patties
  1. Mix all the ingredients with the beef mince in a large bowl.
  2. Using your hands mix and mould into burger patties of about ½” thickness
  3. Keep in the freezer for about 30minutes
  4. Heat some oil and fry the burger patties for about 3-4minutes each side.
  5. If you prefer them well done cook longer and if you prefer medium rare cook for a shorter duration.
Potatoes:
  1. Heat the butter in the pan
  2. Add the potatoes and season with the salt, pepper, parsley, rosemary and Italian seasoning
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle over the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Cook till they start turning a bit golden brown.
Mushrooms:
  1. Heat some butter in the pan.
  2. Add the mushrooms and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook till the water released by the mushrooms start drying up.
  4. Add a few full cloves of garlic and cook for about 1minute more stirring the mushrooms around.
Burgers:
  1. Slice the buns in half and butter. Add cheese on 1 side.
  2. Heat the buns in the oven till the cheese melts
  3. Remove from the oven and apply some mustard to the bread
  4. Add fresh lettuce over the melted cheese
  5. Add the burger patty, bacon and top it with mushrooms.
  6. Close up the burger and voila! Bon appetite.
